Section 61
Conduct of Officials Involved in Public Procurement
Any official involved in formulating the procurement plan of a public entity, conducting procurement operations, executing procurement contracts or performing other tasks related to procurement shall follow the following conduct:-
(a) To perform his duties in a fair manner so that there is a fair competition of the bidders in the procurement process,
(b) To conduct the procurement process in a manner that is in the public interest,
(c) Those who do not act against self-interest by their work or conduct or behavior in relation to procurement,
(d) To keep confidential all other information, including information about the property of the bidder, which he has come to know in the course of the procurement process,
(e) Not to work in any other private organization of a person, firm, institution, company, and similar nature, who had done business while in office, for two years after retiring from office,
(f) If it is known that his close relatives have participated as bidders or proposers in the procurement process in which he is involved, he should immediately inform the officer one level above him and withdraw from such procurement process. , mother, son, daughter, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother, brother, sister, son-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law or cousin. (G) Not to act contrary to prevailing laws while conducting procurement related work,
